Riverside’s “VideoDub” launched in early access
Riverside has launched “VideoDub” in early access: a way to correct a transcript to generate the corrected words in the audio, and correct the lipsync in the video too. It’s worth a watch.
In Canada, the government has announced it will require qualifying online streaming services to pay 5% of domestic revenue as a creative levy to fund local broadcasters (details). The decision has its critics.
No big announcement yesterday at 11am, then. The company in question didn’t give us a denial on Monday; but deals aren’t done until they’re done. We’ll keep an eye out.
